Betty is excited to be part of the team, providing awareness and support about adult abuse and neglect for communities in the Cariboo Chilcotin. This role as Regional Mentor for BC CRN is fulfilling her desire to encourage others in success, respect and life-time fulfillment.

She has spent most of her life in the Cariboo Chilcotin and has a background in Social Work (BSW), mostly in First Nations Communities in the area. Betty has lived rurally but Williams Lake is and has been her home base. She is friendly, empathic and compassionate and with many valuable life experiences and work skills, she is prepared for this important new role.

Betty also presently works in Local government as CRD Director representing East Chilcotin, west of Williams Lake.
