With a corporate office background, she offers advanced organizational, technical, and communication skills that strengthen program delivery and ensure consistent, professional outreach.
Beyond her professional communications expertise, Nicole brings over a decade of experience in the social service and nonprofit sectors. She has worked with vulnerable adults and seniors to provide mental health and social services support to those facing complex challenges, facilitated support groups for individuals navigating social and economic hardship, and provided assistance across a range of community-based programs, including direct work within residential care and assisted living facilities. Her work has involved supporting diverse populations including individuals with disabilities, single parents, families fleeing violence, people experiencing homelessness or substance use challenges, and those requiring access to justice. These experiences have strengthened her foundation in trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based practice, and fostered a deep commitment to advocating for individuals facing systemic and personal barriers.
Nicole’s unique combination of communications skills, frontline social service experience, and administrative proficiency positions her to help create meaningful, accessible, and inclusive resources that reflect the realities of the communities BC CRN serves. She provides assistance with website updates, material requests, and administrative support to the Provincial team, while remaining dedicated to advancing dignity, equity, and inclusion, while supporting safe, respectful environments where older adults and adults facing complex challenges are valued and free from abuse, neglect, and self-neglect.
