Cowichan CRN
The Cowichan CRN through Volunteer Cowichan partnered with Cowichan Hospice, Youth 20/20 Can Cowichan, and several community partners to create an Advance Care Planning information card as part of 10,000 information packages that will be distributed to seniors when they receive their vaccine.
Sparwood CRN
Sparwood’s CRN provided their local Food Bank with Eastertime treats and CRN information that were included in food hampers delivered to the month’s food share recipients.
Saanich Peninsula CRN
In recognition of Fraud Prevention Month, the Saanich Peninsula CRN ran a campaign focusing on financial abuse, fraud, and scam prevention, publishing editorials in several local publications and partnering with SHOAL Centre for Seniors in setting up information displays. Their efforts resulted in a distribution of approximately 35,500 individual publications to the Island community.
