On National Indigenous Peoples Day, June 21, the BC Association of Community Response Networks (BC CRN) honours and celebrates the diverse cultures, contributions, and resilience of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.
BC CRN is committed to reconciliation and decolonization, and we approach our work in the prevention of abuse, neglect, and self-neglect with humility and respect.
We recognize the leadership and wisdom of Indigenous Peoples, who have cared for these lands since time immemorial, and we strive to learn from and be guided by their direction.
We pay our respects to the Elders, past and present, the descendants, and the custodians of these territories. With open hearts and a commitment to relationship-building, we honour the knowledge keepers and the ongoing partnerships that shape our shared path forward.
