The Council to Reduce Elder Abuse (CREA) invites you to attend the 2026 Conference: CONNECT, a full-day event bringing together community leaders, service providers, researchers, and advocates dedicated to preventing and responding to elder abuse across British Columbia.

This year’s conference will highlight the theme CONNECT—emphasizing collaboration, engagement, and the exchange of practical knowledge. Participants will have opportunities to learn from provincial initiatives, explore emerging trends, and connect with peers from across sectors.
The event will showcase CREA’s Capacity Building Projects from the past three years, continuing the legacy of the 2022 LEAPPS Conference. Attendees will gain practical tools, resources, and strategies to adapt within their own communities, and strengthen collective efforts to reduce elder abuse.
