New Partnership Expands Free Frauds and Scams Presentations Across BC

BC CRN is pleased to announce a new partnership with Seniors First BC to deliver frauds and scams presentations to communities throughout the province.

Through this collaboration, BC CRN presenters are being trained to deliver Seniors First BC’s Frauds and Scams presentation, significantly increasing the reach and impact of both organizations.

“By working together, we are able to share important prevention-focused information with more older adults, families, and caregivers, helping communities recognize, avoid, and report financial abuse,” explained BC CRN Executive Director Heather Treleaven.

“Seniors First BC and BC CRN have collaborated for over two decades on elder abuse prevention. We are excited to be sharing our expertise and, together, expand fraud and scam prevention initiatives across the more than 260 communities served by BC CRN,” added Seniors First BC Executive Director Marie Noël Campbell.

Presentations are available at no cost to groups across British Columbia and can be delivered both in-person and online, making them accessible to communities province-wide.
