This Provincial Learning Event focused on unintentional emotional abuse and strategies to strengthen relationships in dementia care. Together we explored practical approaches to supporting seniors living with dementia while fostering understanding, connection, and person-centered care. Participants gained insights into how unintentional emotional abuse can occur, learned techniques to prevent it, and discovered ways to promote meaningful engagement and well-being for older adults.
