With a background in global project management in the tech sector, she is known for her ability to lead complex initiatives, foster collaboration across cultures, and find practical solutions to real-world challenges. Her move into the non-profit world was driven by a deep desire to build meaningful partnerships and make a positive difference in her community.
Joanne has worked with numerous local organizations in various capacities, including project manager, executive director, board member, and volunteer. She currently manages an online community for women in Information Technology, where she provides mentorship and skill building workshops. As a Certified Professional Coach, she supports individuals and teams to grow with clarity, confidence, and integrity.
A long-time resident of Vancouver’s North Shore, Joanne has been actively involved in local initiatives focused on housing, seniors’ well-being, at-risk youth, new immigrants, gender equity, and social justice. She brings empathy, strategic insight, and a strong commitment to community to her work with BC CRN.
