anjali.marshall@bccrns.caAnjali joined BC CRN in April 2023 as Regional Mentor for the Northern Interior region and in September 2023 she added the Northwest region to her portfolio.
With passion for the vulnerable sector, Anjali comes to us with over 15 years of expertise in non profit administration, social housing, building operations, property management, tenancy specialization, community development and volunteer coordination in Canada.
Prior to this, Anjali worked in the corporate human resources field mainly end to end recruitment in India and United Arab Emirates (Dubai) for 10 years.
Anjali moved from Vancouver to Smithers in 2021 to join her husband and settled into a rural community where she quickly learned the challenges that come with the territory.
Anjali worked with indigenous folks in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver for 15 years and she continues to expand her learning working closely with them in rural areas and small communities in the North. She has an extreme passion for connecting people to resources and building networks. Her compassion, empathy and acceptance of people for where they are at is endless. She enjoys mentoring folks to lean into their own strengths and gifts often encouraging inclusivity and intentional community engagement and service.
Anjali gives credit to her 3 rescue cats who are her therapy cats. "Coffee with a cat on my lap" is her joy. Living in the middle of a forest in Smithers, she enjoys ecotherapy and forest bathing. Anjali has been enjoying the challenge and change living in the north riding ATVs and Bobcats and firewood collecting.
