Joanna has had fantastic learning opportunities through her roles in business development, healthcare, seniors' services and community development. The common thread is education, public outreach and engagement.
A learning facilitator with over 20 years' experience working with diverse individuals and groups, Joanna works with learners to improve the quality of dialogue in their personal and professional life by facilitating the learning of language tools. She believes that when we invite, listen to and evaluate multiple viewpoints, it contributes to individual and group capacity-building to collaborate and achieve shared goals. When we listen to one another's story, we not only grow individually and collectively - we also foster and deepen meaningful relationships.
A lifelong learner, Joanna comleted her thesis research on member engagement and organizational change and achieved her Master of Arts in Leadership at Royal Roads University in 2019. Joanna considers reading and crocheting her treasured hobbies of rejuvenation.
