April works inter-professionally to increase organizational capacity, develop partnerships and to conduct prevention research. Her clients include the Public Guardian and Trustee, health authorities, Public Health Agency of Canada and First Nations and Inuit Health. She specializes in non intrusive practice in First Nations communities and has written extensively on Networks.
She was the Principal writer on Outlook 2007 - Promising Approaches in Canada and on a draft national strategy to combat elder abuse. She has been a Mentor since 2003.
