Terrace is a city located 550 air miles from Vancouver by the Skeena River in Northwestern BC. It is, Terrace is a service and economic hub within the Kitimat-Stikine regional district. Terrace is also located on the traditional territory of the Kitselas and Kitsumkalum people, who belong to the Tsimshian Nation. At present, Terrace has a population of almost 16,000 residents. Terrace is also home to the Kermodei (Spirit) Bear.
