Langley Community Response Network

Langley consists of a city and a township, and is located in the Greater Vancouver area east of Surrey. Despite sharing the same name, they are politically separate entities after a referendum that occurred in the 1950s sparked in part of over a disagreement about funding for streetlights. The larger township of Langley has a population of just over 117,000 and the smaller city of Langley has a total of just over 26,000 residents. Roughly 15% of township residents and 19% the city residents are 65+.
