Located in the in the Strait of Georgia, Gabriola is one of the Gulf Islands found off the coast of BC, and is part of the traditional territory of the Snunéymux First Nations. It’s home to about 4,000 people with nearly 40% being seniors 65 and over. Many residents are artists, and Gabriola is known for its annual Isle of the Arts Festival that takes place every April.
