Nanaimo Community Response Network

Set on the edge of the Salish Sea and surrounded by forested hills, Nanaimo is a coastal city where nature, culture, and community come together. It’s a place where waterfront paths lead to local cafés, outdoor adventures are minutes from downtown, and everyday life blends seamlessly with memorable visitor experiences. Spanning more than 90 square kilometres and home to over 100,000 people, Nanaimo is a growing, vibrant city shaped by its diverse neighbourhoods, coastal setting, and relaxed west-coast energy, inviting visitors to slow down, explore, and experience Vancouver Island beyond the expected. This CRN welcomes all who live within the boundaries of the City of Nanaimo.
