Regional Mentor

Fiona is a registered social worker who does consulting work with non-profits and small businesses. She worked for over 20 years with the Canadian Red Cross where she managed the Health Equipment Loan Program in both B.C. and Alberta. Prior to joining the Red Cross, Fiona worked in the community living sector where she made many lifelong connections.

Fiona also has extensive volunteer experience. Currently she volunteers with the North Shore Community Garden Society, the B.C. Association of Social Workers, the Better at Home Program, and her strata council.

Fiona is grateful to live and work on the the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. She enjoys the natural environment of the North Shore through gardening, hiking, cycling and camping.
