In recognition of International Day of Older Persons on October 1, 2021, the CRN hosted a weeklong series of Zoom webinars from September 27 to October 1 on topics such as adult abuse and neglect, home organization, vaccines for seniors, and seniors’ advocacy, and emergency preparedness.
Following the week of webinars, volunteers set up two Drive-by locations – one at Astoria Retirement Residence and the other LaFarge Lake Park – for seniors to pick up bags of goodies and information.
