Vancouver West End/Coal Harbour/Yaletown Community Response Network

Established in the late 1890’s, West End of Vancouver includes the neighbourhoods of English Bay, Coal Harbor and Yaletown, and the world-famous Stanley Park. Historically, logging made way for commercial and residential development. The West End is a densely populated and has an approximate population of 45,000 with 48% of residents falling between the ages of 20 to 39 years of age, and 34% between the ages of 40 and 64. The West End is also home to Davie Village, of the largest LGBTQ+ community is all of Canada.
