Comox Valley Community Response Network

The Comox Valley is located on the east coast of Vancouver Island, and is a regional district that borders the Campbell River district. It takes its name from the Comox people, who are indigenous to the area. The Pentlatch and the Lekwiltok peoples have also lived in the area. The Valley has almost 67,000 residents, with a quarter of the population ages 65+. The Comox Valley is affectionately called the “Valley of Festivals” as it hosts a total of 14 different festivals annually.
