Chetwynd is a district municipality on the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in northeastern BC. Located at the junction of Highways 97 and 29 and the CN Rail mainline, Chetwynd is the natural transportation hub of the Peace River area. With a total population of about 2,200, its senior population consists of approximately 9%.
