Be sure to include BC CRN’s outreach programs on your back-to-school shopping list!
Based on feedback we’ve received to date, we’ve modified and expanded our community program offerings to accommodate in-person and online settings, and different lengths of time.
Our presentations, education sessions, and workshops are always free of charge and we’ll work closely with you to ensure the presentation meets your specific objectives and to ensure a smooth set-up.
Our most popular program, It’s Not Right! will help you understand what adult abuse, neglect, and self-neglect are, the signs of when it might be happening, what you can do to safely and sensitively help, and to whom you can refer.
This program is appropriate for anyone interested in learning more about the topic and what can be done as concerned community citizens.

Gatekeeper is designed specifically for frontline and essential workers who have regular contact with the general public and vulnerable adult populations as part of their daily work.
Learn more about the different forms of abuse, neglect, and self-neglect, including how to spot the signs, the role an essential worker has in addressing it, and how to safely, sensitively, and correctly refer individuals to the help and assistance they need.
